Recording of two German parachutist graves at the cemetery in Dordrecht K22

This is a recording of German parachutist graves at the cemetery in Dordrecht. On the left is Gefreiter Werner Heyer of 9./FJR 1. He died in a Firefight with Dutch Depot troops and Wheel Riders on 12 May 1940. Right Beside him lies Gefreiter Alois Müller of 3./FJR 1. He landed in the Polder Crying pain and got into battle with his unit with the Railway forces and the Depot troops of the Pontonnier Corps and Torpedists. The company became virtually Completely destroyed. Only 10 men escaped to the Zwijndrecht bridges. Gefreiter Müller died in these battles. Next to Gefreiter Müller lies Almost certainly Feldwebel Heinrich Hissen, also part of 3./FJR 1. He was, however, part of the 3rd peloton which was dropped off in Zwijndrecht for the to attack bridges over the Old Meuse from that side. Although the attack group Feldwebel Hissen was successful in this action.
